Susan Snyder, a native California painter and printmaker, began her professional career in 1981 after completing her studies at the San Francisco Art Institute and San Diego State University. In subsequent years, Snyder’s work has been recognized both nationally and internationally through exhibitions in California, Texas, New Mexico, The Virgin Islands, Mexico, and Japan. Her work can be found in both corporate and residential collections. Snyder works primarily in oil and mixed media (incorporating gold or silver leaf), and collage on canvas, in addition to monotypes on paper.
